Submissions are subjected to a blind peer review process. Manuscripts are invited from academicians and business persons for publication consideration. The journal welcomes submissions in all areas related to economics and business fields. Each manuscript must include a 200 word abstract. Electronic submissions are acceptable. Denver, CO 80217-3362, Style Sheet for Manuscript 1. The authors are requested to submit papers electronically in word format. The manuscript should consist of a detachable cover page containing the title, name(s), position, address, institutional affiliation, telephone and fax numbers, and E-mail addresses of the authors. 2. Authors should submit their manuscript to Dr. Kishore G. Kulkarni, Editor, Indian Journal of Economics and Business (IJEB), Campus Box 77, P.O. Box 173362, Metropolitan State College of Denver, Denver, CO 80217-3362, U.S.A. (E-mail: kulkarnk@mscd.edu). 3. All manuscripts should be double-spaced using 12 Times New Roman font, and usually 15 to 30 typed pages in length. The abstract should be typewritten in 12 Times Roman bold italic font. Margins on top, side and bottom of all pages should have at least one-inch. The paragraphs must have a five-space indentation. 4. The first page of the manuscript should be in the following order: Title, author name(s), institutional affiliation and an abstract in 100 words. The title should be in capital letters. Essential acknowledgements should be in footnotes at the bottom of the first page. 5. The sectional headings, such as Introduction, Model, Data and Methodology, Empirical Findings, Policy Implications, Conclusions and References should be in caps 12 Times New Roman font in capital letters, numbered in Roman numerals (such as: I. Introduction; II. Model, Data and Methodology). Footnotes should be brief, and should be used sparingly. 6. All tables, figures and illustrations should be on separate sheets with notations inserted in the manuscript (as Table 1 about here). Tables should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals (such as, Table 1, 2 etc.). The Table headings, with beginning letter of each word in capital letter, should be placed in the center, in capital letters. Notes to the table should be presented using size 12 Times New Roman font at the bottom below the table border. All equations and formulae should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals within parentheses on the right margin [as, in equation (1) or Formula (1)], and should be single-spaced with two spaces below and above each formula or equation. Tables should be immersed into the paper and should be positioned appropriately. 7. References to articles and books, in the text, should be presented at the very end of the manuscript in the reference section. References in the text should appear as follows: Kulkarni and Sawhney (2009). Explicit reference to page numbers, in quoting their sentences and words, should be cited as, for example, Kulkarni and Sawhney (2009, pp. 72-73). 8. Journals, books and documents should appear in the reference section as follows: Bai, J. and P. Perron (2003), “Critical Values for Multiple Structural Change Tests” The Econometrics Journal, Vol.6, No.1, 72-78. Author, D., L. Katz and A. charged a “Publication fee” to cover the printing and distribution
costs. This fee is non-negotiable, and is $300.00 for authors outside
10. Each manuscript goes through internal and external review. Internal review is completed in less than a week. If inernal review is passed, the manuscript is sent to the external review. The authors need to be subscribers to the journal for external review. |
